Christine was born and raised in Howell, Michigan. She graduated from Howell High School and attended Aquinas College on a scholarship to run cross country and track. In 2005, Christine moved back to Howell to marry her high school sweetheart, Chad Heckler. They have one child together. Chad is a professional precision rifle shooter and the owner of L3 Engineering. Chad comes from the Dinkelville farm family, which was well known for growing the famous Howell Melon.
